A friendly reminder that the Ottawa Wildflower Seed Library is hosting a free native seed giveaway each Saturday until December 13! Drop by to learn about the benefits of native plant gardening, take in a winter sowing demonstration, and pick up seeds from over 200 species native to Ontario - all for free.
Whether you’re an experienced native plant gardener or just getting started, our passionate and knowledgeable volunteers are happy to help you find seeds that will thrive in your garden.
Let’s get ready to winter sow and keep Ottawa blooming with native flowers! See you soon!
P.S. Help us grow - bring a friend, a neighbour, or a fellow gardener who would enjoy gardening with native plants too!
